Why Book Studies Work
Stronger in community
Reading on your own is powerful. Reading with others is transformational.
In a book study, you're not just learning — you're sharing experiences, listening to perspectives you hadn't considered, and realizing you're not alone in what you've been through. The group creates accountability to keep going and space to reflect more deeply than you would on your own.
HLAA/ALDA chapters, hearing loss support groups, and workplace employee resource groups have used these books for group discussions — with participants consistently saying it was one of the most meaningful experiences they've had.
